$125,000CommercialFourier GR-2 (Oct 2024): 175 cm / 65 kg, 53 DoF, 12-DoF tactile hands, FSA 2.0 actuators (380 N·m), swappable battery, NVIDIA Isaac Lab / ROS / Mujoco SDK. Used by ETH Zurich, CMU.
GR-2 is Fourier Intelligence's second-generation humanoid, launched at the Shanghai R&D Center on 24 September 2024. Building on GR-1, it stands 175 cm / 65 kg with 53 DoF and a brand-new 12-DoF dexterous hand carrying six array-type tactile sensors for force feedback and material/shape inference (prnewswire.com).
The FSA 2.0 actuators deliver over 380 N·m of joint torque; the swappable battery sustains ~2 hours of operation. Fourier shipped GR-2 with an upgraded SDK compatible with ROS, Mujoco and NVIDIA Isaac Lab, plus pre-optimised vision / path-planning / force-feedback APIs. ETH Zurich and Carnegie Mellon are early research customers.
