Privacy Policy

RoboBoom is a humanoid-robotics catalog and intelligence platform operated by a private team. This policy explains what we collect when you use roboboom.com and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Anonymous analytics (page views, navigation, interaction events) via PostHog.
• Server logs (IP address, user-agent, requested path) for security and uptime.
• If you contact us by email, the contents of your message and your email address.

We do not require an account to browse the catalog and we do not currently collect names, payment info, or contact details from visitors. The data above is the entire set we process today.

Where the data is stored

• Analytics - sent to and stored by PostHog. The default region is United States (us.i.posthog.com). PostHog is a sub-processor; their privacy notice applies in addition to ours.
• Server logs - kept on our hosting provider for up to 30 days for security and debugging, then rotated.
• Email correspondence - retained in our admin mailbox (admin@roboboom.com) for as long as needed to handle your request.
• Catalog content (robot specs, manufacturer info, photos, videos) is stored in Supabase (Postgres + object storage). This is public reference data, not visitor data.

Cookies & tracking

We use a single first-party cookie for theme preference. PostHog sets a session cookie for analytics. We do not run advertising trackers.

Third parties

• Supabase - application database & storage.
• PostHog - product analytics.
• YouTube embeds - when you click play, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode applies.

Your rights

Email admin@roboboom.com to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you or to ask us to delete it.
