$95,000PrototypeTARS Robotics (Dec 2025): Shanghai/Beijing startup — A Series industrial + T Series bipedal, share AI brain + dexterous upper body. World-first humanoid hand-embroidery; threads needles, stitches fabric, assembles wire harnesses.
TARS Robotics unveiled its first humanoid prototypes in December 2025 — the industrial A Series (wheeled or stationary) and the general-purpose bipedal T Series. Both robots share the same AI brain and dexterous upper body but differ in lower-body configuration (prnewswire.com).
TARS is engineered for extremely fine control tasks — threading needles, routing cables, stitching fabric and assembling wire harnesses. In a December 2025 demo the robot became the world's first humanoid to perform two-handed embroidery, stitching a logo with sub-millimeter precision and adaptive force control. The SenseHub system captures operational data that feeds the TARS AWE (AI World Engine) 2.0 embodied-AI model. Shanghai + Beijing dual HQ.
