HIVA Haiwa is Chinese appliance giant Haier's entry into home humanoids — debuted at AWE 2025 (heyupnow.com). The 165 cm / 70 kg wheeled humanoid carries 44 DoF and 12-DoF dexterous hands; reach extends to 2 m for high shelves.
Haier markets it as a "housework terminator": sweep, mop, pick up rubbish, remove laundry, iron and fold clothes, basic cooking (heating + mixing) while interacting with Haier ovens, hobs and fridges over the smart-home network. Currently in prototype + remote-operation phase — engineers train HIVA via teleop to accumulate data, with full autonomy planned through cloud-assisted AI. Estimated price ~$80,000.
