$165,000PrototypeDonut Robotics Cinnamon 1 (Japan, end-2026): 170 cm / 70 kg full-size humanoid. World's-first "Silent Gesture Control", VLA model, 2 h battery, 5-finger hands. ¥2.2M tax-included. Construction + factory rollout.
Cinnamon 1 is Donut Robotics' first full-size bipedal humanoid — built by the Fukuoka-based Japanese team founded in a garage in 2014. The 170 cm / 70 kg platform ships with five-finger hands, 2-hour battery life, and a mixed metal + composite build (itbusinesstoday.com).
Distinctive feature: the world's-first "Silent Gesture Control" — operators direct the robot through gestures rather than voice. A Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model handles autonomous behaviour. Donut markets it for in-store patrol with shoplifting-prevention function, customer service and translation. Target verticals: construction, factories, security, service. List price ¥2.2 M (tax included) ≈ $14K. Rollout planned for end of 2026.
