$140,000PrototypeIt is a 160 cm, 300 kg humanoid with 42 DoF and 14 hand DoF for industrial automation and manufacturing. LLM use is possible via external system integration, and availability is unknown.
Zeus 1 is the first industrial humanoid from Suzhou-based PL-Universe Robotics, unveiled in summer 2025 (robohorizon.com). The platform pairs a humanoid torso and two collaborative arms with a wheeled mobile base, positioned for smart-manufacturing roles — material movement, assembly, inspection and packaging — rather than household or hospitality service.
PL-Universe markets it on three claims: a ±0.05 mm repeat-positioning accuracy, a single-arm payload of more than 7 kg with a 954 mm reach per arm, and battery life above 8 hours with travel speed beyond 2.3 m/s. End-effectors are modular — grippers, dexterous hands and electric drills can be swapped in — and the system integrates with factory MES and loading systems out of the box. No public timeline for mass production, customer references or pricing has been released yet.
