Hobbs W1 is Noetix Robotics' receptionist humanoid — unveiled late 2025 with a deliberately lifelike "female-styled" bionic head on a metallic-silver body shaped in an ankle-length skirt silhouette (interestingengineering.com).
The platform combines 5-DoF arms and 6-DoF hands for natural gestures, item handovers, button presses, door opening and pick-and-place work. The android head runs dual GPUs on-device so multilingual NLP (intent recognition + semantic parsing + dialogue management) and face tracking work without cloud connectivity. Already deployed in museums, government halls and offices for reception, guidance and customer support.
