Phantom MK1 is the industrial-scale humanoid from US-based Foundation Robotics — designed for real-world deployment (humanoid.press). The 175 cm / ~80 kg platform carries 19 upper-body DoF + five-fingered hands, runs at 1.7 m/s and lifts 20 kg continuous / 36 kg peak payload.
Key hardware: cycloidal back-drivable actuators deliver 160 N·m peak torque while remaining back-drivable under 1 N·m for safe human-shared workspaces. Perception is camera-first — 8 cameras + LLM-driven scene understanding without LiDAR for reliability. Steel + plastic construction.
