The Largest World Robot Conference in China
PRO ROBOTS’ main presenter covers humanoid, service, industrial, and healthcare robots at China’s 2025 World Robot Conference, with demonstrations and interviews from exhibitors.
Sergey, host at Supercar Blondie, explores Unitree Robotics’ quadruped and humanoid robots at the company’s factory in China with Unitree representative Yolanda.
Yolanda welcomes Sergey to Unitree and shows him the company’s robot dog models, tracing their development back to 2013. Sergey introduces three products for testing: the Go2, B2W, and G1 humanoid. He also recounts founder Wang Xingxing’s early quadruped work and Unitree’s 2016 launch.
Sergey rides the B2 and tries out the Go2, which can imitate jumps and perform movements such as rolling over and stepping across obstacles. He says the Go2 costs $1,600. The B2W uses wheels to move across uneven ground and is presented as a capable option for industrial work.
Sergey introduces the H1 as Unitree’s first humanoid generation and the G1 as its latest, priced at $16,000. The G1 can climb stairs, move faster than 4.4 miles per hour, and maintain balance when Sergey pushes it. He then faces a G1 in a boxing match and loses.
Sergey says the Go2 weighs 15 kilograms, can carry up to five kilograms, and has LiDAR for scanning its surroundings. He describes the B2W as an industrial machine weighing about 80 kilograms that can carry 120 kilograms. Its cameras, 360-degree LiDAR, wheels, and jumping ability are shown alongside possible warehouse and firefighting uses.
Sergey races the G1, Go2, and B2W, expecting the wheeled B2W to lead. The G1 wins, surprising him with its speed. He closes by thanking Unitree and asking viewers which robot they liked best.
