A shared development foundation
Developing humanoid robots can require teams to assemble simulators, teleoperation tools, data systems, and training infrastructure before research begins. NVIDIA says Isaac GR00T brings together open models, simulation and training libraries, data generation tools, and a robot computer.

From demonstrations to trained policies
The proposed workflow begins with simulation in Isaac Lab, then captures demonstrations using Isaac Teleop on real or simulated robots. Omniverse and Cosmos can expand a demonstration into thousands of synthetic examples. Teams can train and evaluate policies in Isaac Lab Arena, then deploy them with Isaac ROS on Jetson Thor.

Modular tools and reference robots
Each part can be used as provided or replaced with a team's own tools. NVIDIA says the platform supports robotics research across disciplines and settings, including labs and factories. It also introduces reference design humanoid robots intended for research.
