ROBOTIS K0 ("AI Sapiens"): open-source research humanoid. 130 cm / 34 kg, 23 DoF on Dynamixel-Q QDD actuators, 6 TOPS NPU. Full BoM + CAD + sim assets published; targets Isaac Sim RL workflows.
K0 is ROBOTIS' open-source AI Sapiens humanoid, the Korean robotics veteran's first entry into the bipedal humanoid race. The 130 cm / 34 kg chassis carries 23 DoF (6 legs + 5 arms + 1 waist) driven by Dynamixel-Q QDD actuators (14 QM-060 + 9 QM-080) with a 6 TOPS NPU and a 46.8 V / 9 Ah battery (humanoidsdaily.com).
Fully open-source, hardware BoM, CAD files, source code and simulation assets, K0 is positioned as a Physical-AI research baseline for reinforcement learning in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and leader-follower imitation learning. Full release scheduled later in 2026.

ROBOTIS demonstrated its open-source AI Sapiens K0 humanoid learning the CORTIS 'REDRED' K-pop choreography using only smartphone video, via a pipeline of video-based motion capture, motion retargeting, simulation reinforcement learning, and Sim2Real transfer.
interestingengineering.comROBOTIS demonstrated that its AI Sapiens K0 humanoid can learn the viral CORTIS REDRED dance from a smartphone video, with software converting the recording into motion data for the robot's digital twin to train on via reinforcement learning in simulation. ROBOTIS plans to open-source the motion-generation/learning pipeline.
