   Robosen frames the robot as a memorial to the battle that ended Optimus Prime’s life. The special edition marks four decades since The Transformers: The Movie, and was developed by Robosen with Hasbro and Takara Tomy.

   The robot stands 19 inches tall and has a black-gray finish designed to evoke battle damage. Its vehicle mode converts into the classic G1 truck, while the Matrix of Leadership remains part of the design.

   Robosen says the collector’s model contains more than 5,000 components, 60 microchips, and 27 servo motors. These power automatic transformation and combat poses.

   Voice, app, and custom actions

   Voice commands let owners direct Optimus Prime to attack, transform, or hold position, with Peter Cullen providing the character’s voice. The mobile app offers combat poses and walking sequences, with updates that add actions and features. Robosen Studio lets users create sequences with actions and music.
