Lesson 3-2 - Android App Operation

Booster Robotics’ Android app guidance covers connecting to a K1 robot, controlling its movement, using agent features, and teaching custom actions.

In this talk

  1. 0:00

    Connect to the robot

Android users are instructed to install the base software package and Booster app, then connect to the robot over Wi-Fi by entering the password. After connecting, they select the matching K1 to open its control screen.

  2. 0:16

    Practice basic controls

In the Booster Agent’s Working Mode, users can steer with two joysticks: one for forward, backward, and sideways movement, and one for turning. They can also move the robot’s head in four directions and tap Run.

  3. 0:49

    Explore agent functions

The app provides separate interfaces for the SA Agent and Hi Chat Agent. The kicking direction follows the robot’s forward orientation, and the Hi Chat Agent can respond to spoken requests such as nodding or waving.

  4. 1:37

    Teach and activate custom actions

To create an action, users open Teach Agent, choose Custom and New, then record movements. They save the recording, activate it, and tap the new action to play it. The app also has Dance and Lion Dance agent interfaces, with more functions planned.
