A logistics pilot at CETRIKO
The CO-HAND pilot took on JARVIS Open Call 1, Challenge 2, focused on logistics tasks involving material movement. Testing at CETRIKO put the system in a changing textile production environment.

Operator control and robot status
Operators configure workflows, start tasks, and monitor progress through a web interface. They can also use a mobile device to address issues and resume operation remotely. Base lights show system status: green for normal operation and yellow when an error or obstacle occurs; interrupted tasks wait for operator clearance.

Perception supports cone handling
After an operator clears an interruption, TIAGo Pro handles empty yarn cones. The pilot uses JARVIS CO-ACT for cone recognition and pose estimation, producing 3D grasp targets and distinguishing empty from occupied arrangements.

Replenishing loaded spools and user feedback
The robot also picks heavy, full yarn spools and places them onto rack pins to support ongoing production. In the final user evaluation, every participant said they would use the robot in daily work and expected it to ease physical strain.
