Andrew King, CEO of RoboStrategy, discusses humanoid robotics and investment with John Koetsier on NEXT.
A Galbot representative discusses the company’s autonomous gold-medal performance at the World Humanoid Robot Games and its pharmacy deployments in Beijing.
Galbot competed without teleoperation and won gold in the robot skills competition. The games presented the event as a showcase for robotic productivity and embodied intelligence.
Galbot read prescriptions, found medications across eight shelves, and placed nine required items into their containers autonomously. It won the preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds, finishing in 10 minutes and 22 seconds with 336 points, 160 ahead of second place.
Galbot says it has deployed robots in more than 10 pharmacies across Beijing. The company plans to expand to more than 100 stores across China by the end of 2025.
