Robots with a story
Monceaux introduces Miroki and Mirokai as twin characters from another planet. Enchanted Tools created animated films and interactive experiences to give people a sense of each robot’s background, values, and worldview.

A distinct role for Miroki
Miroki’s face draws on animal features without representing one specific animal. Monceaux says the robot is designed to bring people and objects to the right place, rather than perform human tasks. He sees potential uses in hospitals, clinics, and pediatric care.

Why use a mobile base
Monceaux says a wheeled base can position the robot high enough to reach objects on tables while avoiding the complexity of a biped climbing stairs. It is also easy for non-experts to move by hand. Its high center of mass helps with grasping and arm control, while its small footprint saves space.

Service and social experience
Monceaux describes two aims: helping with practical services such as moving objects and making daily life more engaging. The character is intended to surprise people and make them feel part of an adventure.
