A lightweight dexterous robotic hand for manipulation research and robotics development. It has 16 DoF and weighs 1.1 kg.
Allegro Hand V4 is a four-finger dexterous robotic hand developed by Wonik Robotics in South Korea for manipulation research and robotics development. It was introduced as part of the Allegro Hand line, which became known for combining human-hand-like dexterity with a relatively light structure and a high number of actuated degrees of freedom.
The V4 version continued the line’s focus on research use, offering 16 degrees of freedom in a 1.1 kg package. It has been used in academic and industrial robotics work for grasping, manipulation, and learning-based control, where a compact multi-finger hand is needed for experiments rather than production deployment. The model remained associated with the broader Allegro platform rather than a clearly documented standalone sunset date.
