A collectible Optimus Prime robot that auto-converts and supports voice, app, and programmable control.
Robosen’s Elite Optimus Prime is the smaller, 16-inch “Elite/Performance” variant of the self-transforming Optimus line, publicly unveiled on October 21, 2022 as a more compact alternative to the 19-inch Flagship model. It keeps the voice/app control and 27-servo motion system, and launched at $699. As of June 2026 it remains commercially offered via Robosen’s US store, which currently lists the unit at $699 with a restocking notice. (motor1.com)
Recent milestones cluster around software support and a new accessory: the Elite Optimus Prime Trailer Kit. On iOS, the dedicated Elite app shows version 1.1 (March 31, 2026) and 1.1.1 (April 8, 2026). Robosen opened preorders for the Elite Trailer Kit on May 7, 2026 with a $999 early-bird price through June 7, moving to a $1,199 regular price on June 8 and listing an estimated ship window of late June 2026; the run is limited to 2,500 units and marketed as North America–exclusive.
