About
Robosen Robotics introduced the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Alpha as a licensed Disney and Pixar character robot. It was designed around the Buzz Lightyear identity from Toy Story, combining interactive motion, app control, voice features, and programmable behaviors in a consumer robot format.
The robot extends Robosen's earlier character-robot approach by pairing a recognizable licensed figure with added accessories and companion elements, including a jetpack and Sox. It was positioned as part of Robosen's development of character-driven robots rather than as a general-purpose platform, with its public debut centered on a 2022 launch and related demonstrations.
